Class One - Introduction

Have you been looking for a way to get healthier? Have you wondered which program to choose, what would be the best for you and maybe even be good for the people you live and eat with? Look no further! We are offering a new program called: FOOD FITNESS FIRST® and we are excited!

We will have an information meeting to tell you all about the program, what your employer will be providing, how the cafeteria will change for you and any other questions you might have.

We want our employees to not only like their job, but also get healthier while they are here.

What is it all about?

FOOD FITNESS FIRST® is about better health, one step at a time. The FAVORABLE FITNESS FACTOR® helps you to have a good idea about your current health and helps with a plan to improve.

Keepking Track

  • Keep track of what you are eating and doing
  • Keep track of exercise
  • Keep track of eating times and places
  • Keep track of who you eat with
  • This helps to pinpoint areas to work on

When we keep track, we can see how we live, work, eat, exercise, and take care of ourselves. This "eye-opener" can hep us see where to start to include healthier choices.

Making New Habits

When we see a problem area (like too many fried foods, too few fruits, etc.) we can try to come up with a solution. What are some problem areas that you have? Can you come up with some new ideas to start a new habit?

What is Chaining? When one event leads to another – this happens with our eating and lifestyle choices sometimes. For example - You buy chips, leave them on the counter, come home from work hungry and tired, grab chips, sit in easy chair in front of TV, EAT WHOLE BAG OF CHIPS - OOPS!
