What is it?
- Antifungals- Bind to or Impair Cell Membranes causing Fungal Cell Death
- Used For- Skin Infections, Fungal Infections, Candidiasis, Oral Thrush, Reduction of Scaling/Dandruff
- Taken as- a Shampoo; Massage for 1 Minute, Leave on Hair for 3 Minutes, Rinse with Warm Water and Repeat
Side Effects
- Nausea, Vomiting, Stomach Pain, Headache, Dizziness, Anemia, Fever, Chills, Itching, Skin Rash, Confusion, Irritation, Diarrhea, Unusual Bleeding or Bruising, Yellow Eyes or Skin, Dark Urine, Pale Stools
What can I do?
- See your Health Care Provider- as needed, take 1-2 Weeks, Sometimes taken up to 6 Months; Discontinue if No Improvement in 2 Weeks
- See your Pharmacist- for help
- AVOID- if Allergic to Fungals, Pregnancy, Lactation
- See a Food Fitness First Registered Dietitian- Take with Food to Decrease GI Upset, Small and Frequent Meals; Good Personal Hygiene
