- Anger- is a Normal Response to Daily Events that Pose a Threat, Could Lead to Harm or Violence to You or Others
- Hostility- is Always Being Ready to Fight, Keeps Your Blood Pressure High, may Increase Your Risk for a Heart Attack and Other Illness, Isolates You from Other People

- Negative Management of Stress- Smoking, Drinking, Overeating, Using Drugs, Shutting Down, Violent, Abusive, all having harmful site effects
- Positive Management of Stress- Expressing Yourself Through Crafts, Art, Writing, Crying can relieve Tension, Exercise to Release Your Energy, Be Kind to Your Body getting Enough Sleep, Eating Correctly, Taking Time to do Enjoyable Activities, Train Your Body and Mind to Relax, Deep Breathing for Relaxation and Tension (Inhale Through Your Nose and Exhale Through Your Mouth)
- Calm Down- Discuss the Conflict Rationally, Try Yelling or Screaming in a Private Place, Go for a Short Walk, Talk with a Friend About Your Anger, Write in a Journal, Draw or Paint, Listen to What the Other Person has to Say, ALWAYS FORGIVE and FORGET
- Forgive and Forget- to Lower Your Blood Pressure, to Ease Muscle Tension to Feel Relaxed
What can I do?
- Never- Keep Firearms or Weapons at Home where Someone has a Alcohol or Drug Problem is Prone to Violent Behavior or has Threatened Suicide
- Teach Your Children- Violence is not a Solve Problems, Do Not Spank Your Children, Take a Discipline Course, Anger and Arguments are Normal Parts of Relationships
- Hitting or Hurting- is NOT Normal, Physical, Sexual or Physical Abuse is not Acceptable in any Relationship
