What is used for?

*Headache, high blood pressure, tension, sterility, ulcers,

*Mistletoe- comes from branches, leaves, berries
-native in Europe, England, Asia
-North American Mistletoe- used as Christmas greens
-grow on fruit trees, oaks, and popular
-all plant parts are toxic
Signs and Symptoms
*Change in pupil size, delirium, hallucinations, seizures
*Dehydration, diarrhea, mild fever
*Nausea, vomiting
*Slow pulse, coma, cardiac arrest
Recommend:
*Dried leaves- 2-6 grams oral, 3 times a day
-liquid extract- 1 - 3 milliliters oral, 3 times a day
-tincture- 0.5 milliliter oral, 3 times a day
*AVOID- if using alcohol, drugs that slow the nervous system, sedatives,
cold/allergy medications, tranquilizers, narcotic pain relievers, seizure drugs,
barbiturates, muscle relaxants, pregnant, breast feeding, cancer, children
drugs- for a heart condition, to lower the blood pressure, to relieve depression,
MAO inhibitors
