What Foods and Amounts:
*1/2 cup Jello and 1-2 Graham Crackers
*1/2 ot 1 Apple, fresh slices with Fruit Fresh and 3 Vanilla Wafers
*1-2 oz. Cheese, Mild and 2-6 Saltines and 1/2-1 cup Milk
*1/2-1 cup Milk and 3-6 Ginger Snaps
*1/2-1 cup Milk and 2-4 Oatmeal Raisin Cookies
*1/3-1/2 cup Sherbet and 1/2 cup Fruit Cocktail
*1/2 Banana or 1 small Banana and 1-2 T. Smooth Peanut Butter and 1/2-1 c. Milk
*1 1/4 inches Square Angel Food Cake with 1/2 cup Fruit
*1/2 cup Applesauce and 2-6 T. Cottage Cheese
*1-2 slices Whole Wheat Toast with 1 t. Jelly or 1 T. Peanut Butter and 1/2-1 cup Milk
*3/4 cup Frosted Flakes, 1 small Banana and 1/2-1 cup Milk
*1-2 slices Whole Wheat Toast with 1-2 oz. Mild Cheese and 1/2-1 cup Milk
What do I need to do?
*See a Physician

*Try and eat more meals at home and less out
*Less Fried Foods, Spicy Foods
*Avoid foods child can get chocked on easily- hotdogs, nuts, seeds, popcorn
*Plan 3 nutritious Meals and snacks daily
*DO NOT SKIP BREAKFAST or ANY MEAL or SNACK
*Use Whole milk unless otherwise instructed
*Do Not Use Low Fat Foods Unless Physician or Registered Dietitian advise
*Encourage Children to eat, never force
*Never use as a Discipline or as a Reward
*Teenagers- Boys tend to be underweight and girls overweight, increase activity and
balance calories with nutritious foods, see a Registered Dietitian, increase or
decrease foods as needed
