What is it?
*Bruise- Small Blood Vessel under the Skin that Tears;
Blood Seeps into the Surrounding Tissue Causing
the Dark Color of the Bruise
-Easier- if taking Aspirin, Blood Thinner/Anticoagulants
*Develops- after a Fall, Bump, after Blood is Drawn
*Women, Geriatrics- more prone than Men
-Geriatrics- due to Fragile Blood Vessels, Thinner Skin
-Areas more Prone- Thighs, Upper Arms, Buttocks
Facts:
*Cerebral Contusions- Bruises on the Brain, Strong Blow to the
Head
*Cerebral Lacerations- Torn Brain Tissue, Head Wounds, Skull
Fractures, More Serious than Concussions
