What happens?
*Spot- with pain, redness, swelling and itching
Who does it affect?
*Children, Elderly, Person with High Blood Pressure
Different Insects/spiders:
*Black widow- < 2 inches across, shiny black with a yellow or red
hourglass mark underneath, female may cause Nausea, Chills,
Fever, Stomach Pain, Hard to BreatheGET MEDICALATTENTION ASAP!!
*Brown Recluse-smaller then Black Widow with Long Legs,
Brown with Violent shaped marks on their Heads, Bite = Hard Pain
with a Blister then a large open sore developing into Nausea,
Headache, Vomiting and Chills- Get Medical Attention ASAP!
*Bee Sting-scrap to remove stinger, use Vinegar, Lemon Juice
What are the Symptoms?
*Severe- Skin Reactions, Shock, Hives, Hard to breathe,
Tightness in the Chest or Throat, Dizziness
*Wheezing or Swelling of the Face or Tongue
What do I need to do?
*See a Physician- immediately, Avoid Scratching, Benadryl
*Wear White, Light Colored Fabrics, No Perfumes, use Insect
Spray with DEET, Wear Gloves, Tuck Pants into Socks
*Wash with Soap and Water then apply Ice to Bites
