Class Twelve - Smoking, Alcohol, and Drugs

What can we do to prevent poor choices for our families and ourselves?

This class will look at the use of alcohol, smoking, and drugs and how they can affect our health and prevent us from having a good quality of life. We will be talking about moderate use of alcohol, but will also discuss excessive use of alcohol as a health hazard and the definition of excessive use. We will also look at smoking and drug use - the health risks and how use of these two groups can be harmful to us. We will also look at stresses in our lives; the health risks associated with stress and how to better cope with stress.
